Shuster Holds Town Hall with Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Employees07/01/13
Blue Ridge Summit – Congressman Bill Shuster visited Rowman & Littlefield in Blue Ridge Summit on Monday afternoon. He toured the facility and spoke with workers about their concerns with the federal government.
“Whenever I have the opportunity, I am up in the Ninth District and talking to constituents who make it such a great place to live. These hard working individuals are the backbone of America and their voices deserve to be heard in Washington,” said Shuster.
"Rowman & Littlefield was fortunate to have Congressman Shuster take the time to come by and meet our team. We're proud of the millions of dollars we have contributed to the local economy since our move to Blue Ridge Summit in 1997 and we appreciate the fact that Bill Shuster recognizes that contribution,” said Jed Lyons, President and CEO.
“I would also like to thank the team at Rowman & Littlefield for inviting me to see their distribution center and speak with their employees. It’s companies like theirs that provide workers with a rich work environment, good paying jobs to support their families and grow our economy,” Shuster added.
